Hey guys. This is my first post. I have a 2009 Versa and I've had some troubles lately with the people who changed my oil. They left the oil cap off, but thankfully secure under my hood, and unknown to me I drove it until most of the oil was gone. I figured out something was up when the engine began knocking. They rectified that situation, but today when I got in the car after it was serviced the wheel is now permanently off center to the right by about 4-5 degrees at least. There is no pull to the right or anything, but if I try to center to the wheel by driving it veers left as if the new center for the wheel is at this off-centered point.
So my question is if my engine knocking could have done something to knock the wheel off center? Seems unlikely, but other than that I've got nothing. The service department didn't mess with the wheels or the steering wheel as far as I know and it had no previous problem with the wheel being centered.
Thanks for any help.
