Misconception,
"The" vehicle is only "new" until you sign the paperwork and take it off the lot. The dealership has no real or legal obligation to replace the rotors, only to correct the issue. Warped rotors is a wear and tear item just like brakes. The fix is to turn them unless material removed results in exceeding min thickness requirements.
Now, your logic is correct however, and given the "age/mileage" of/on his Mo they should and/or will replace without comment - but going in demanding or expecting that replacement is the only fix could cause you unwarranted anger or concern.
The front rotors on my Acura warped within the first 3000 miles. Pulled them off and had my local guy turn them for a $20. Not one shimmy in the last 42K+ miles.
Ameshrimp,As I mentioned before - if your dealership replaces them, that's somewhat expected and would be great. If they don't, no big deal either. Just keep your receipt/work order documenting the "early-on" issue. In the event that they warp quickly again, the dealer will then most definitely replace them. This wasn't common yet a typical event during my previous life / Nissan Tech days.
I'm sure by now this issue is already behind ya.
