my tension rod bushings are worn out, more so on the passenger side. i get a shake between 45-60 mph and then smooths out. im blaming the tension rod bushings.

Normally when your tie rods go out you'll hear a clicking not just a vibrate. Tension rod bushings(or lack ther of) will only have an effect on your bump steer on rougher driving surfaces. Just rolling down the road the Tension rod's have very little effect on the smoothness of your ride they're ther to control the forward and backwards movment of your lower control arms. So unless the bushings are virtually non existent they arnt the source of your vibrating problems. bring it to a tire shop have them do a high frequency balance on all four tires shud solve your delima and shudnt cost you much either. Let us know if that fixes your problem

worn tie rod ball joints will cause the wheel to shake. i know this i have had 3 cars that did this. a 93 taurus wagon, 90 integra, 94 ford probe. new tie rods cleared it up.
