The steering wheel is solid when traveling straight down the road. As soon as I head into a curve in the road at about 40 mph on up the steering wheel gets a preety good shake in it. I have a 1999 Q45t with 103,000 on it and original suspension components. Is it time to replace the shocks?

Your front tires may be unbalanced. Take it to a tire shop and let them take a look at them to see if they're balanced.

Shocks and their boots, front tension rod bushings, front strut bearings at the minimum.

100,000 miles is way passed time to rehabilitate the entire front suspension...........total rubber bushing replacement.

Just had all the tires rebalanced with a machine that puts a load on them. Before I was getting some shake all the time. That went away after the rebalance. Now it just seems to happen when I'm in corners and bends in the road. So mostly when there's more weight shifting to one side. It happens whether its cornering left or right though.
