steering wheel problem 07

at every start, after the steering wheel/column has zipped into place, when I first lay my hands on the wheel and apply downward pressure, the steering wheel clicks down about five millimeters in my hands, to a lower position. Apparently, the column isn't properly "locking" into position in the vertical plane, until downward pressure is applied. After doing that, the column remains fixed and doesn't jiggle at all. However, this happens with EVERY start in the exact same way each time.

Anyone else have/had this problem? Thanks..

ya loaaded. once i start the car the steering wheel colum goes down to the set position, but once i touch it, it sort of clicks into position like i said with minimal movement maybe 1/8 inch then it doesnt move at all. not that noticable but its there and i heard people haveing the same issues on other websites just wanted to see if this is common/warranty w.e.

That's where you have the problem. Either the limiter sensor is screwed or just something loosen up. I would take it to the dealer to look at it.
