Steering wheel nut size and thread?

I cannot find the correct nut to secure the steering wheel on my 1963 Datsun 320 truck. I've tried a 1.0, a 1.5, and a 2.0 thread with no luck.
Help!!!

I would go online to Amazon and order “pitch gauges” for both metric and imperial threads. There are plastic ones that are inexpensive. Bet you will find that Imperial threads will work.
