Steering wheel jitters!

Hello! I have a 1993 Nissan 240 SX SE limited edition convertible, just started to get some shaking back & forth in the steering wheel? Would any one have a clue what the cause is, before the shops suck me dry of my wallet! Please & thanks,Cheers

sounds like a wheel or tire issue. possible tie rods have play.

Thanks man! don't feel as worried now. Thought it might be a much larger issue. Nissan did do the front breaks just recently? maybe the wheel nuts are not tight enough, will check, weather permitting!Again thanks for your response, this site saved my azz once before when my broken tail light wouldn't let me shift out of park........You guys are the best of the best!!!!

you may not have a loose wheel but rather one that needs to be rotated or balanced.
