wtf i just took my 2008 g37 coupe to the dealer yesterday to get my brakes done and get some "minor" steering wheel shaking looked at it...

just got it back and now my steering wheel is shaking violently.. atleast 20x worse than it was before i took it into the dealer...

what could be causing this? i have custom offset 20's on the car but my tires are in perfect shape and i just got alignment done recently...

I'd take it back and have a tech ride along with you...doesn't sound very safe!

infiniti dealer just told me to take it the place i got the wheels and have them rebalanced... apparently infiniti dealers don't have the equipment to balance after-market wheels??

when is it shaking? It very well could just be that your wheels are out of balance.

if it's really 20x worse, I'd check the hell out of those lug nuts before I rolled another foot
