I own a 1982 Datsun 720 King cab . My problem is that im a fairly big fellow. 5'11" and "big boned" not fat . So getting in my truck is a daily challenge .
I need a new smaller steering wheel. What kind of steering wheel will fit my truck? Also how do I install it?

There are a few "racing" wheels that can be found online. What you need to measure is the bolt pattern on it and find something that fits... installing is as easy as removing the stock bolts and putting in the new ones
you need a boss kit. its a kit that will allow aftermarket steering wheels fit. most parts stores that ive been to dont carry them so theyll need to order them.
If you haven't done this yet you can get a couple different nicer looking steering wheels from Amazon. I picked up this one with this adapter and it was a pretty easy swap.
Ok, while we're on the topic - is there anyone out there that can refurbish the stock steering wheel??? My '84 720 is pretty mint but the rim of the steering wheel is baked from 30 yrs of sun, wear, and tear. I don't want an aftermarket wheel, I want a cherry stock one. Please help...
