Ok so got my s14 a few weeks ago and ive been doing research from suspension deals to ka24det to body kits. Im currently trying to figure out what steering wheel hub is the best/ bang for buck. Ive never had a reason in any of my other cars to have a detachable wheel so im new to this portion. SO in a nut shell:

Whats the best steering wheel hub?Whats the best for a low cost? What is the most common? What type of things to look/watch out for?

pic for clicks

last thing I'd want is play in the steering wheel. cheap hubs = play.

does anyone have the short hubs? are they any more efficiant or are they just to limit how far the steering wheels comes out?

i have the boss splash with a momo wheel. is great cuz the boss allows you to still have the rods that click the turn signals off

HKB hubs are around $50, and include pins for cancelling turn signals.

As for quick releases, I don't think NRG's are "top of the line" although they probably don't suck either. Works Bell comes to my mind when I think top of the line quick releases...

+1 for sonicmotor... that where i got mine but i drove there since it eas so cloe and got the whole thing for $50 for pick-up, that comes with a Boss hub and the quick release thats seen on the website... im not complaining, there is NO play left right or up and down, plus i spent less than a quarte of what some people payed

Are there any big difference between the NRG and Works Bell? Are Works bell better by features or just quality? (note: not that quality isnt needed just checking)
