I've owned my 2010 Versa for about a week now, and little things about the Versa are starting to pop up as I drive and examine the car more. I'll have a comprehensive write up once my midterms are over, but in the meantime, I discovered something that's bothering the crap out of me, so I'm trying to see if it would be covered under warranty. I've certainly never heard such an issue before...
My steering wheel has poor fit and finish. The actual wheel appears to be made of two pieces. That or the material covering the wheel is two pieces. It joins together at the side (like if you were to look at the steering wheel from the side you would see a line where the materials meet) and there is some flashing of the materials. As a result, when I am finishing a turn and the car is straightening out, I can feeling it cutting into me. Obviously it's not sharp, but I feel it every time I hold the steering wheel. It's very annoying. And kind of distracting.
Would such a thing be covered under warranty?
