Steering wheel fitment. 02 I35 wheel fit on a 98 Q45?

Hi There:

Anyone out there know whether a factory steering wheel from a 2002 I35 will fit on my 1998 Q45? I would obviously need to know whether the wheel would fit on the column and then secondly whether my original airbag would fit properly as well.

My orginial wheel is in pretty bad shape and I really did not want to buy a wheelskin cover and wrap it except as a last resort. My friend is parting out his 02 I35 and his car has the nice woodgrain and leather cover that matches my original wheel. I am just weary about pulling my wheel off and messing with the clockspring unless I am fairly sure it will work.

If anyone has successfully tried this swap and made it work, please let me know. Also, is there a special way to carefully remove my wheel without setting any airbag sensors off or damaging the wiring?
