I have been looking to to put a leather steering wheel cover on. I have researched several product on EBay, Amazon and the net overall. I have even watched YouTube videos. I am leaning towards WheelSkins product. However I was also thinking about a DIY project of creating my own cover. Here is the problem, I was looking for exact specs on the steering wheel to make a pattern, but I can't seem to find any. I looked into buying a OEM steering wheel already wrapped, but the expense of buying one and then having someone install it, is more than I care to spend. Is there anyway to get spec on the steering wheel to make a pattern? I want to have a very finished look. I know I can do this project.
