steering-wheel controls

Hello,

I bought a 2009 Murano LE about a month ago. I didn't use it for about 4 days and today I noticed the steering-wheel controls are intermittent. about 95% of the time they don't work. once the cruise control light came on but was blinking about about 2 mins and turned off.

Any idea what might be wrong? or anyone had this problem before.
