Today i went to get an 4 tire allignment done, and they tell me a little bit later on they cant do it because i need several parts replaced because they are worn, bent, etc. Well i took done everything they told me. I need Inner and Outer tire rod ends (tie) and lower ball joints on right and left side.....soon my stomach dropped, but soon looked at it in a different way, ill just go ahead and upgrade these parts now instead of later and take advantage of it. But i have some questions. When they say inner and outer do they mean...the Inner being the rod itself, and outer being they tie end? But i plan on getting a tein set of tie rod ends. And i am having a fun time trying to find a good company to order the lower ball joints (control arms, if i am correct) so if anyone has any websites they can list for me it would be greatly appreciated.

:: i put the picture on there by what i meant which a inner and outer was.....is that correct??::

I just bought a pair of Tein tie-rods on Ebay. It was cheaper than any of the sponsers.

try pdm-racing.com for the ball joints. they sell moog units. i know nothing of them but they seem to be a higher quality than the run-of-the-mill autozone stuff. check em out

im not sure about getting more angle, but i know several people are satistied with tein products, so i am trying them out my self. ya i saw them on ebay for $150 but i also found a site for $155 so ill check out which shipping is cheaper....i was reading topics and post about some moog products, like how the tie rods seem to go out after 7 months or so, and they had a recall or something like that....not to sure if i should trust the ball joints, but who knows they might be my only choice for upgrade, unless i come across another brand which is better. (not that i want the best, but i hate to spend money on something to just repair it a couple months later)

i read that thread about moogs suking or something. i got mine from here. the balljoints themselves were "stouter" than stock. they came a grease fitting and a thicker rubber boot. rear balljoints i got with new rear arms from midway parts.

if youre talking about the LCA ball joints, then youre gonna have to buy new LCAs because you cant replace the ball joint itself. also, im selling a set of brand new in the box tein inner/outer tierods. email me at [email protected] if youre interested.
