I have a 2006 QX56 that just started leaking at the seal where steering shaft connects to rack (see 1st image). I do have a new seal, so am looking for guidance on replacing it without removing the entire rack if possible. I have never encountered a 7-sided "nut" as shown in 2nd image. Can anyone please assist? Does it simply thread off normal vs. reverse threads)?
