All it took was one week of long distance commuting for pot-holes and rescessed manholes on the worst roads in the country (pennsylvania of course) to completely destroy my steering rack. I can wobble my front right wheel by hand probably 5 degrees or so. I think im going to send PA a enormous repair bill (+ mental anguish) after I fix it.

are you sure it's the rack? it might be the rod ends or ball joints. either way it sucks.

Oh I checked, the rod that comes out of the steering rack goes in and out a good half inch. And yes it blows...

i know hwo u feel, i live in chester county right near you and sometimes i feel my pretty conservative whiteline springs and AGXs are too much for the horrible pennsylvania roads. just hope nothing gets F-ed on my suspension
