steering rack overheating??

the other day i ran out of powerstreeing fluid and didnt have the money to buy some so i had to drive without ps fluid!! now that i have it full when i go on drives my car will start smoking and from the looks of it i think its coming from the steering rack. any ideas?

check for fluid leaks. you could have a leek on the reack and its burning off near a hot component, like the exhoust

cool thats what i was thinking too and yes i do have a horrible leak lol but im geting new lines monday!
