My 95 J passenger side rack is dripping oil from the boot, Has any one rebuilt theirs, and do I have to remove the whole assembly just to change the seals? I see the seal kit at Infiniti of Scottsdale is only 22 bucks. Versus $1,200 for a replacement unit.

Thanks

I did not due any kind of pressure flush, I just emptied the reservoir withmy wifes turkey baster (she is still looking for it )Filled it with mobil 1 and loosened th 2 banjo fittings on the rackand let it drain there until mobil 1 came out. Then the following weekendI did the turkey baster thing again. That was a good 10,000 miles agojust noticed a small stain on the garage floor. which led me to the rack, the boot is intact but the end is wet and if I squeeze it a couple of drops came out. No noticeable decline in level on the dip stick yet.
