I've searched and found anecdotal info on changing these out but nothing definitive on the Q.

I'd like to change them. They now have 140K on them and my azimuth vector control is getting a bit vague at high speed. It appears simple enough, but can anyone confirm this? Or, any couda' shoulda' while you were in there info? Homie only likes to get (physically...literally) dirty occasionally so I'm going to go after the sway bar bushing at the same time.

One six pack or two? Coupla' hours or coupla' days? A few cuss words, or a full barrage? Rags thrown arbitrarily in disgust or bullets fired directly into the car?

Be VERY gentle wiggling the rack itself around as you attempt to remove/install the bushings- hard lines are brittle{and possibly corroded in salt/coastal areas} and no longer available from Infiniti!

I'd say its a 6 pack job, doable in a few hours... You'll save yourself a lot of hassle if you mark the steering joint and take it off or slide it out of the way..

Might as well go with Z32 poly ones for a litlte better feel and longer lasting.

Wow I thought you could just undo the supports that hold the bushings to the rack and just slide them out.

But all you have to remove is the steering joint right along with the other regular stuff?
