my steering wheel turns super esealy which is nice in town but i'd like it stiffer when racing/ haulin a** on the i-state. i could run less ps fluid but that could ruin the system. anything i can do to make it turn harder? - meaning as if i didn't have ps.

It all has to do with the gearing in the power steering rack. Not much you can do with it.

Don't add motor oil that will not do anything good.

Check the belt out on the power steering pump. Make sure it is there and not loose.

After that it could be a bad steering pump or a bad rack and pinion if you have no leaks. Get prices from several shops and also ask if you can bring your own part. Then buy the part at what ever store has the best price.

Im sure it would be a difficult mod but pretty much every car since 1990 has had power steering that is less responsive/ harder when you get to higher speeds. it looks at your speed and adjusts how the steering will react. I actually think it just gets harder becasue I dont know how it could change the gear ratios. But maybe there is a way for you to tweak that sensor and make your steering harder??
