Ok, well I have this really weird problem. I have no idea what's going on but whenever I turn left everything is fine but when I turn right, I hear this really weird noise like it's groaning or something, as of right now it doesn't affect steering performance but I want to take care of this soon before anything worse happens so what do you guys think the problem is so I know where to start? thanks guys and the car has p/s

a little more info will help... whats been modified on the car, wheels, suspension?does it make the noise when sitting still or only when moving?

if its only when sitting still and the noise seems to not be coming from the wheel well area i would asume the pumps going out... check the steering rack for leaks around the ends as well... since i know the racks on these cars seem fairly fragile as well...

if its while moving check or the sound seems to be in the wheel well, check for rubbing marks from the time or rim contacting the body or suspension somewhere... also bushings could be making noise, or a hub bearing is starting to go or needs adjusting and the rotor is lightly touching the pad anchor (caliper bracket)

just a couple thoughts... good luck-pete

well the only thing thats been modified is the intake, suspension is stock but I havent replaced it yet since I bought the car since March this year, and I'm running on Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712 tires 210-45-ZR17.

At first I was thinking it was the wheel wells but it only happens when im turning right, moving or just idling there.

probably your pump because even if your rack is blown, it wouldn't be making any noise.

At the strut uppermount there is a ballbearing, whitch looks to be blown, get new strut mounts and the noise will be gone for sure.

Problem solved. It was indeed the strut mounts thats making the noise, I confirmed that it was making noises and my mechanic also confirmed it just to be 100% sure so it should be an easy fix-it job and thanks guys. NICO is the best.
