I have a 1996 240sx. My car is doing something very wierd that I can not figure out. If I am driving down the road at at least 30 or so MPH, and if I turn in either direction the car will turn normal until a certain point is reached and then it will all of a sudden jerk and turn sharper. It used to do this only turning left and I had to be going at least 40, but now it does it in either direction and at lower speeds, and it sees to be worse.

I have replaced the steering rack bushings, inner and outer tie rods, and the lower ball joints. I also got an aliangment. I have eibach pro-kit springs and KYB AGX struts that are in good condition.

What could this be? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Brad

Update:

I took another look at my car tonight, and it turns out that my other lower ball joint has some play in it, which is probably causing my problem. I knew I should have just replaced them both, I dont know why I didn't. But I am ordering one and will replace it next weekend. So hopefully that fixes it. If not I will be back!
