Hey all i'll start first by telling you what i have. its a 92 with a vg30et custom swap. i believe the steering rack was relocated to make room for the engine and trans. the passenger side of the racks inner tie rods were extended by welding another piece of tie rod to it. the driver side inner tie rod was cut down. i think the car was lowered also. the front coil springs are bright red and there is only like 4 coils top to bottom. i tried to lift the car a few inches with spring lifts so i can get the car to and from where i live until i can fix the custom crossmember with is 4 inches tall and drags the ground or until i get a set of stock springs. the problem i'm having is with the toe adjustment. after i lifted it the tires were both toed in. me and a friend readjusted it and took it down the road to test it. it bump steers something horrible now and when i brought it back to the house the drivers tire is straight and the passenger tire is towed out. we readjusted them and took another ride and again horrible bump steer and the passenger tire towed itself back out. it makes all kinds of squalling noise on pavement because of it ... i'm not sure what is causing this. if you guys have any ideas that could help me that would be great. thanks

Honestly guy this is a scary situation, The extend of modifications done to this car makes it unsafe to drive. Especially if your alignment angles are changing on thier own. If both tires were changing direction I would say it was likely the rack shifting. But since only the one tire is I am weary something is bending or coming loose under the stress. Can you get this car high enough to get a photo of whats been done to the rack and an over all veiw of the rack and rods? If so shoot it and post it.

EWW!! I do not like the way they did your tie rod ends. I assume they are ajustable still since you tried to correct toe. I recommend you pull the boots off the rack and check the inner socket and make sure its not backing out off the ram.

yeah they are adjustable to an extent. we are right at its limits. actually a buddy of mine suggested that too. he told me to go ahead and order new ones that way they are the correct length anyhow. i'll give that a try when i can nothing but rain here for the next week. florida is great!!! i'll keep you guys posted thanks for the help.
