Hello folks!

Got an issue that i am a little stumped by.

I can turn my steering wheel 1 full revolution left, then 3 or so right until the tire hits the frame.

Now this isn't an intentional mad left drift turn angle mod. But, the car was 'aligned' recently, and the car drives straight, the wheel is straight, no pull or unusual wear, i can just turn waaaaaay further right then left.

Car does have a new steering rack. Alignment done after it was installed though.

You need to recenter your steering rack, whoever installed it should've done it.

I've never done it before, but I'd imagine you'll have to find and stop your steering at the point were you'll have an equal amount of turns in both directions.
Then you'll have to unbolt the steering column, center the steering wheel and bolt the steering column back to the rack.

Or if you have a micrometer, you can measure the length of the rack on each side to make sure it's center.
Go here and download the ST.pdf file

Then go to the bottom of page 67 and look at the measurement for Rack Stroke.
