I drove through some curvy roads last night going pretty fast. i was following a couple of other 240s too. anyways, now there is weird humming noise when i turn the steering wheel at a stop. is that a sign of the ps pump going out? don't think there's a leak because it's still full. another thing is that it's making a clunking sound whenever i go over a speed bump. blown shock? it's coming from the driver side front. haven't checked for leakage yet. I know my tension rod bushings are toast. oh yea, i have 203k mi.:pface

edit: I did not run over anything or go through a pothole. was going rather fast with stock suspension.

I'm getting up there, 193k. My chassis and steering are starting to make some weird noises too. Does your PS pump whine at full lock to either the left or right? That's when mine starts making noise.

well, it's weird because it only whines sometimes. I guess after a long drive, it makes the noise only when im at a complete stop and turn the steering wheel. about 360 degree turn. has anyone bought the suspension tech bushing set? Do I need new tension rod since mine or so old or can I just get the bushing for it?
