steering jams up at times

bought car in july of 2017 steering was hard found air in system. bleed system, found pump got quiet steering was easy. then steering stopped returning to center when driving steering would not turn to right would have to jerk steering wheel hard then jerk back. could not tell if pump was moving fluid. ordered reman pump.still waiting on pump. drove car after letting it sit for five days.steering is working fine no problems. could problem be in the twin orifice p.s. system.

Based on the description, it sounds like you're on the right track. Update once you get the pump replaced.

I found my car did this when I bought it as well the pump was also super noisy because it had regular power steering fluid, I replaced it with ATF steering went back to normal and no more noise! Could also be a kink in one of your power steering lines

my son was driving the car when the steering came back. so i disconnect the twin orifice connector at rack. i believe system in in high speed mode? its been working like this for a couple weeks it has good steer feel i think we will leave it alone for now.
