This is on my Q. I was responding to some suspension threads in the Q forum and it reminded me of this issue...

Ive driven other Q and they dont seem to have this issue... What mine does is when you whip the wheel real quick, it doesnt seem like the PS can keep up and it feels like you're hitting a brick wall (or like the PS gives out for a second)..

This is particular annoying when I am doing an auto-X because its really hard to be smooth..

Sometimes this causes snap oversteer, especially when im in the throttle... why when I was in carlisle it caused me to spin out..

I also get a similar situation when the car is cold, which is why I think its related to the PS system... The steering rack appears to be in good shape, it doesnt leak and the fluid has always been fresh.

This is more applicable to guys who know Z suspension vs 240, since the Q uses a basically identical setup to the Z.

Suspension setup

Tokico blues, california custom springs (front and rear progressives), Front upper arms, tension rods, rear upper arms, sway bars with poly in the rear (rubber in front, thats for a reason).
