thanks for the assist with the fuel problem but now i have a bigger problem, my steering wheel will only sometimes return to center, i checked fluid thats fine and the tires are new, it feels like im turning the wheel and hitting a stopper i almost hit someone bc of it, nissan didnt see any problem im lost any suggestions

oh and i say again only sometimes usually at 20 mph or less almost like turning your wheel while the car is in the on pos but not running

is the wheel hard to turn when the car is not moving and gets easier as you move faster? what do you mean by stopper? dont fully understand everything you said in your post

sorry i didnt explain well, it didnt do it for like 3 days then yesterday it did it again, the wheel turns fine for about 45 degrees then its like steering without power, both ways left or right. no matter what speed it doesnt want to return, but only sometimes, usually when i get in and go without warming it up. the fluid is perfect and theres no noise what so ever!

it could be your power steering pump. if you have plenty of fluid it isn't a leak. thats the only thing i can think of right now.

if your power steering pump is bad a flush won't do anything. you will need a new one. but take your car to a good mechanic and see if you can confirm your problem as the pump
