1990 240sx - stocki just got new tires at the end of winter break

starting about thanksgiving break every once and a while, when i was on the freeway or 50 mph + my steering would feel loose, or really touchy... also in high speed turns it feels as though it kinda sticks making it hard to correct/fix direction while at high speeds... now this is hapening every time i go above 45 mph... i was wondering what you think it is... any help/suggestions are appreciated... thanks in advance

Bushings, alignment, tire pressure. They could all be a culprit. Start by putting in the correct pressure and getting it aligned. Could be the ball joint on the tie rod ends are gone as well.

yep, everything he said... my guess would be alignment and tie rod ends.

I'm assuming you had your tires balanced when they were mounted, but if you go for thousands and thousands of miles without balancing your tires, they can add some quirkness to the steering too.
