I replaced my stock steering wheel with a nardi wheel and also a momo hub adapter.it seems the steering has gotten a little tougher since i changed the wheel. The wheels are just about the same size not much smaller. Also would not braking the tabs of the hub adapter and drilling holes in the hub adapter make this problem. When i put the old stock wheel back on it turns normal.

that's strange, should be easier.

my question is, did you use an momo -> nardi adapter?

My buddy just installed his, but he had to get an adapter because momo doesn't bolt up to nardi wheel - is that what you meant by drilling holes in the hub?

Maybe your not tightening everything?

Once installed, it should feel "stiffer" in the sense that you can feel the road a little better, but not "stiffer" in the sense that it is harder to make turns.

i used a momo hub and a momo to nardi adapter ring. I mean breaking the tabs of the bottom of the hub then drilling 3 holes for the turn signal on a 98 240

when i mean a little tougher i mean it doesnt turn as easy as the stock wheel just a little harder

you have a picture?

you shouldn't have to drill anything on the momo hub - at least I didn't remember doing so, maybe s14 is different, who knows.

this is what mine looks like i am talking about the tabs breaking those tabs that i put green dots on then drilling hole where i put red dots. it is different for the s13 and s14did your friends wheels turn just as easy as the stock wheels or just a little harder

it actually turns easier since it's lighter, the size was nearly the same, so we didn't have to spend more effort steering or anything.

Yea, iono what your problem could be.

Mine steers easier too (s13), or at least the same - i have momo->quick release -> spacer->momo wheel.

The tabs you are talking about shouldn't affect the steering - those are just used for turn signals on the s13 - when not in use, they are just free to move around.

yeah i know that but i dont know if it pushes the blue thing or the turn signal return in to far and makes it rub i guess i will just take it apart and drill the hole to see what it does but thanks
