Hi, I have a 1993 240SX SE and the rubber coupling in the lower steering shaft is damaged. I've seen replacement for other cars, but can't find it for ours.

Any of you know where I can find it or which other coupling works?

Thanks in advance.

The only thing i know there are aftermarket discs available that are out of alloy or steel. Maybe u can are able to build one yourself, or have a buddy who can do this. Basically you just need a piece of metal the same diameter and height as the rubber disc and drill the 4 holes in it.Hope this helps.

Hi Chezina:

Although I know that could be done, I think using a steel disk would mean the steering will become too harsh. I know that's beneficial in race driving, but I don't race and would like to keep some of my comfort.

Thanks anyway.

maybe... in the buy/sell/trade section? or your local salvage yard for a replacement...
