Three months ago I purchased my 2007 Versa SL with 33k miles. It has developed a shaking in the steering column when taking slow turns, especially on slow right turns. The car seems fine when operating straight and at any speed. Only when driving slow and turning, does the steering wheel shake and vibrate. It almost feels like a wobble coming from somewhere down the steering coplumn near the rack. I took it to our local mechanic who could not find anything wrong. Anyone here had a similar problem? Or an answer to what this problem is?

I have the same thing to an extent, I just got use to it. Almost feels like something is loose.

Some people actually have said when taken to the dealer it is due to the electric power steering and you have to get use to it.

Steering rack has to be replaced. Some original versions had issues.
