Car: 91 Q, 93 cobra, 99 svt lightning

My 91 has a clicking noise when I spin the steering wheel, also have a recent air bag light that arrived at the same time. tried the test fix and it didnt turn it off. I can see the gear spin on the left side of the column just behind the wheel when I turn it from lock to lock. any one have any ideas before I take the covers of and have more downtime?

Sounds like a broken spiral cable
