steering column clearance

my turbo elbow wont clear it no matter how much i grind

moved the rack around into so many positions not helping

grinded a bit off the steering nuckle aint helping either and wuts even worst turns out i have a greddy elbow i am thinking its bigger that stock ?

i am at a point where i am thinking to go RHD and call it a day :(

hello,

it looks like you have an aftermarket turbo dump pipe, lucky bastard...anyways this is what we did to clear the steering shaft.

we CUT an actual slot in the dump pipe so there was a hole AND it cleared the steering column... then we took it to this welding shop and they welded a piece of curved steel inside for $25 so it wont leak exhaust...it works well and it probably wont affect air flow much....

thats funny

cuz i did that today :ylsuper i had to grind it so much till it opened up will take it to a shop to weld a piece metal on the inside

oh and is it really an after market ? i though nissan and greddy means same name ?

the turbo as well is off a mistubishi

i hope the wiring is still the same cuz this car wasn an auto and its a manual now they tweaked it a bit over in the mother land
