I just bought a '92 240 base. The...well i call it the steering boot on both sides are split how hard or easy is it to replace? if you could give me the proper name that would be cool so, i don't sound like a dumbass. thx

Its pretty easy, but if you take it apart from the inner tierod, you have to deal with a weird locking washer.

You could choose to remove the outter tierod end, then you change the alignment.
