Steel braided IC hose??

How farfetched is this? I know steel braided hose up 2 a certain size is already expensive as hell. Just entertain the idea, flexible ic hose (easier for all ic options), fewer plumbing issues. Certain issues would have to be addressed of course bov placement for example. Then again most stock turbo cars use rubber IC hoses anyway. Other than not having seen steel hose 2 to 2.5' in. in diameter. Is there any other reason why it wouldn't work?
