I couldn't find any spring rates for sportline, are they progressive?

which spring would handle better, if all were coupled w/ AGX?

btw, what's the lowest drop the aGX would handle w/o problem?

I know these questions have been beat to death... but couldn't find any posts that fully answers my questions

sportlines are progressive and they are only about 10% stiffer than the prokit IIRC.

S-tech is the way to go if you ask me. I will be putting on S-Tech/AGX combo on my wife's S13 when I get it. She thinks my HE's are way too stiff.

All three of those springs are progressive. The S-Tech is not linear. Tein only lists the max rate for the spring.

The AGX warranty is void if you drop more than 1.5 inches over stock height. That's a good rule-of-thumb to use as far as "too low" goes. All three of those springs should be okay to use with the AGX. Sportlines drop the car pretty far, but people don't appear to have had any significant problems with them yet. If you want a bigger drop than these springs offer, like a full-blown RS*R spring, you'll need a shock with a shorter travel, like a KYB Buzz Spec.

Myself, I would opt for the PK, as I don't care for big drops. Handling-wise I would say the S-tech or PK are your best bet.

I always thought that the sportlines are more extreme (stiffer) than the pro kit...

The RS-R Down springs give a pretty hefty drop, the RS-R Race do not. The Race are also stiff...reallly stiff. A few guys over at FA have paired the RS-R Race up with AGX's. I guess time will tell if the spring is too much for the AGX's.

there are the specs for the Rs*r race springs...they are $230 at phase2motorsports

S13 - Front: 1.4" Drop (5kg) / Rear: 1.2" Drop (4.5kg) S14 - Front: 1.4" Drop (5kg) / Rear: 1.0" Drop (4.2kg)

that's a pretty small drop, so the aGX should be able to handle them right? what about the spring rate, would that be a problem for the AGX?

hey I send an email to KYB and they replied that the rs*r race springs -->S13 - Front: 1.4" Drop (5kg) / Rear: 1.2" Drop (4.5kg) S14 - Front: 1.4" Drop (5kg) / Rear: 1.0" Drop (4.2kg)

void their warranty...

but I was tinhking since people use coilovers like gorund ccontrol w/ the AGX w/ springs that are stiffer, the AGX would hold the rs*r race springs right?

Bad Mojo what's FA? I wanna know if their rs*r race spring combination w/ AGX works well
