Oh ya, I had something else to say. My stearing squeals when I slowly turn left, like turning to get out of a parking spot or some other tight spot. What could be the problem?

is it a "squeal" or more of a rubbing sound? i noticed you had aftermarket rims on your max. it may be that the tires are rubbing the inside of your fenderwell. your "symptoms" sound like what i have on my max, but mine is cause the tires are rubbing a bit. anyways, just an idea.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. That might (most likely) be the problem, I'll check out the clearence. But if it isn't the rubbing on the fenderwell what could it be?

I'm going to guess that it's your power steering pump. Check the level in your fluid reservoir. If it's low, fill it up. Keep in mind that it may be symptoms of a greater problem, a leaking power steering rack.

And to add to what gabossie said:

If it is a power steering system leak, get it taken care of ASAP. Power steering fluid will degrade rubber components and if left unchecked, could lead to even more costly repairs.
