Interesting, but I think it would take about 5 ft. or 6 ft. to get to my fuse box or especially the ignition switch.

I would hate to lose the muting and remote visual LED function also.

Hi Maxnix,

We could produce a longer 5' or 6' cord, but as you stated you would lose the functionality of the remote display. We're currently working on a solution to remedy this.

Before I used a Stealth Cord, when my detector was mounted lower on the windshield, thus further away from the driver seat, I would have to lean forward to hit the mute which was very inconvenient.

Now, where I currently have my Escort detector mounted with a Stealth Cord (right below the mirror), the detector is out of my line of vision and the mute button is easy to press without having to lean forward in my seat.

All the Best,

Stealth Cords

I LOVE my StealthCord.

Got pulled over the other day (paced by a unit hiding 3 lanes over behind a semi), and the DPS officer saw my Escort...

Said, "That's the best detector on the market, good call."

I said, "Thanks, too bad it doesn't alert to being paced!"

He laughed and said, "Wait - where's the cord?"

I showed him and referred him to StealthCords.

p.s. I got let go with a warning.

What about cords for GPS systems? Like say a Garmin nuvi 750 into an '08 Pathfinder with power mirror.

I like the Idea of a probe, Up untill now I though you had to ruin the wires to splice in to them.

Why isn't this done with alarms I wonder? I mean if you don't like the alarm you could always remove the probes that you have on the connectors.

Thanks dude for the idea for the video.

If you had a solution to where the radar sits like this I would buy it from you:

I just like my radar out of the way.
