NYC is supposed to get up to 14" by tonight at 3am... Its treacherous out there. I got myself into a little accident earlier too... I was going down hill on snow filled street and a Mercedes ML SUV pulls out of his driveway right in front of me and since it was slippery my brakes werent slowing me down (I was sliding forward) and I got wedged between the Benz and a parked car. Luckily this was at a slow speed so both mine and his cars only had scratches and the parked car which was beat up anyway, didnt have any additional damage from me, nor did I from it. I literally 'touched' the parked car as I came to a stop... We decided it wasnt a big enough deal to report it since we knew PD would take longer than the usual few hours due to the bad weather (the lady who owned the parked car came outside too and said she was fine with it because there was no added damage and her car was effed up from before). Now ive got a couple scratches but I suppose it could have been worse....
So, moral of the story is: stay safe, watch out for the 'other guy' in this bad weather.
