When my Rogue was brand new (1 year ago) I too experienced what I first thought was static in the front driver side speaker. However, what I discovered was that it was not static from the speakers per say, but rather a slight vibration of the
plastic control mechanism that controls the door locks, windows, etc. The vibrations would occur under certain conditions, and were caused by the sound waves from the said speaker. I would need to just touch the
plastic control mechanism and the vibrations would stop, only to reappear some other day. This was all resolved after swapping out the front speakers for higher quality ones, and installing them on Dynamat, which dampens many of the
rogue
sound waves inside the metal door.
Anyway, just sharing my experience. Leo2005 is right though, if you are sure it is static get the dealer to fix it. Good luck!
