I have lived in Japan for ten years so I am not up to speed with the new breed of street racers. I have never gone to hangouts where racers gather at least not in the states. I tend to be more of a lurker, hiding down side streets like a trap door spider pouncing on passers by in on-the-roll to-the-limit races. I do a lot of stoplight drags too but those are as they come.I watch movies like Fast and the Furious and I look at posts here and I am lost with what American street racers do. Please tell me that line up four cars at a time thing is fantasy. I ask because every time I race an American over here under 25 they do the weirdest ****. I can never get a straight-up man-to-man run on these guys. They creep off the line and as soon as they see me get off the gas, they punch it, fly by me and give me four-ways. I used to chalk it up to random chumps but I am starting to see a pattern so I guess I need to figure out the new etiquette before I lose my cool and put one of these guys into a guardrail. I don't want to see a bunch of people flaming each other just give me some examples of nightly activities where each o you is at. Is there betting? what are the rules? do people actually expect you to pop your hood beforehand? what are the types of runs ex; drag, top speed, windy roads back and forth? Should I be ready to knock somebody out if they don't like losing and not knowing what I have?I don't pop my hood, I don't bet (well money anyway) and I have no tolerance for guys who talk the talk but refuse to walk the walk. Young bucks translate for gramps here

We usually gather at the local drive in diners, where we race for girls & everyone owns a hotrod, and the stewardesses’ skate to your car to take you order. And God help you if you mess with "The Fonz" and the Falcons....

see, when you go race, you gotta lower yourself to the mindset of a spoiled rich kid. you always ahve to get your way. and despite having your *** handed to you, you always have to have the last laugh or get in the last sucker blow. i.e. the ricer fly by. if i owned a really fast car, and some ricer tried to do that, i'd punch it and keep up with him till i couldnt see him in my rear view. anywho, kids today are dumb. back in the day, we used to have a thing called "the racer's code" but now theres chaos and mass hysteria and rule breaking. its time someone in a car...maybe a black car....with a big blower sticking out of the hood....comes in a teaches all these poons a lesson. damn right!
