Stater harness 12 volt green power wire-QX56

I've seen diagrams that say this is a "consistant power" wire. Is this true? And, is it safe to tap into it right at the back of the white connector of the cluster that snaps into the starter?

Hey man,

Get a DMM. Stick one end on whichever wire you want and ground the other wire. If it reads 12v you are good to go. If not, try the next one. Jonny
