State Laws...whatcha think Smoking Tail lights

I want to smoke my tails, but I'm wondering if it's legal.

I read my state code and the only thing I can find says thatthe rear lamps and reflectors must be red.

So....what shade of red? Can I alter them at all I wonder?

If so, to what degree can I go....I mean...if their almost blacktheir still kinda red right?

What do you guys think? Anyone have experience with this intheir state? I know it won't necessarily apply to my state, but I'mjust curious.

it just depends on the cop...... as long as they are not like really dark almost black, no one will give you crap.
