Well, I had my pulleys changed because my tensioner pulley for the power steering was dead. That caused some nasty metal sounds, thought it was timing chaing, but it was the pulley.

While I had this taken care of, I went ahead and got my mechanic to install my underdrive pulley for me (yea, I'm that lazy). New smaller belts were put in for the 2 that needed it.

I'm thinking/hoping that one of the belts is still too "big" because when I start my car up (especially early in the morning when it's all quiet and cold), I hear a squeak squeak (very loud) then it's ok.

Basically, I just want to hear everyone's input; I'll be changing to smaller belts hopefully in a week or so when I do my other installs.

Thanks

maybe too big or maybe too loose. a little squeak when cold is no big deal. i keep mine a little loose just to prolong accessory bearing life.
