My car starts on engine starter then dies after I'm out of engine starter it dies and as I give it gas through the rpm band to try to keep it alive it's makes a really harsh screaching noise like it needs timming really really bad and I'm getting fuel up to the fuel line.filters not clogged just added a brand new 300zx fuel filter, fuel pump and fuse isint bad ,new spark plugs wires dis cap and rotor I have spark and air I also emptyed out old gas 5 year old gas. put in a full tank of brand new 91 and fuel stabilizer. still nothing where could I be losing fuel pressure at like I said I changed the filter and fuel line also changed the fuel relay why won't car stay on or hold fuel pressure any ideas where my leak in fuel is or problem it's a 90 ka24e 240sx hatchcback

Have you checked your fuel injector o-rings?
They could be leaking.

What's making the screeching noise? Is your belt slipping?

I had a similar problem and my problem was a large vacuum leak then I fixed it and it ran fine so you may want to check your vacuum line as well, especially the ones on the intake and under it I missed one with a big crack in it under there.

He's not 'getting on your case' he's giving advice. You are much more likely to GET HELP!!!!! if you punctuate, capitalize and use proper grammar.

Let us know if you see/hear any vacuum leaks, and try to have a friend keep the car running while you stick your head under the hood to see what the screeching noise is.

Did you clean out the old gas or just drain it? Its possible that some of that old jelly is clogging your fuel pump or something.

On that note I get in the car today I turn the key and I hear the fuel pump prime toward the trunk then it shut off and primed again. it did it every 4-7 seconds almost sounded like my anteena going up and down could this be apart of my problem??
I just drainned the old gas I had a hard time draining it to it took longer then usuall I had to keep applying the tester to the fuse cause gas would stop flowing out my lines every couple of seconds I used fuel stabilizer so I don't know about the jelly but you could be on to something.

I'll bet that bad gas is your issue. You'll probably need to drop the tank.

Almost sounds like the same problem I had just recently...maybe check to see if the crank position sensor is bad?
