Well my car wouldnt start and i was told it was the starter, so i replaced the starter with a new one and the same thing still happens:

when i turn the key i hear a relay clickon the drivers side of the car under the hood, the solenoid does not click so therefore the starter motor doesnt turn.

i am very frustrated.... does anyone know what is wrong?

BTW: my car is a 1994 240sx convertible with a automatic to 5 spd swap

Only two real solutions...

Either 12v is not getting to your battery... check voltages

or

Starter not grounded properly... check for grounding continuity at the starter.

Basically judicious use of a voltmeter/multimeter should let you know.

good luck
