Hi.. I`m having some trouble starting when cold. The car starts but then dies after about 2 sec. If I start it again the same thing happends, I do not move the trottle pedal at this time ( I never had to before ). Now I have to depress the throttle and pump lightly to keep it from dying, an after about 5-10 sec. it runs ok with no indication of anything beeing wrong. It`s a 1996 mod QX 3L run 211000 kmAnyone?

Thanks... I have checked every connector and harness going in the aerea in general but I don`t have any manuals telling me what and where.I found a couple of posts about adjusting the TPS but I am not confident enough to start this without some more info.Does anyone have some useful links regarding the various sensors, computers etc. on this engine/car?skahak

I've had that problem with a 200sx and it was ignition switch which is located in the steering column. Maybe you can check that out and see how it works out.
