ok just to give back ground ive been swapping an kade man-tran , into a kae-auto, i got more time to jack with it and it turns over good and at the speed it should but no start. as i was going over stuff , i noticed the coil hadnt been connected, silly me right? wrong the harness i have for the de came with no connector that fit the coil for the kae. so i looked at the old harness found the plug and cut it off the old harness, found the corresponding colors on the kade harness but there was a lil black box that they went to "looks like a resistor box or something" along with two other wires. so i just snipped the two that i needed, green with black stripe, and black with red stripe, and connected them to the coil plug from the kae harness, i get some spark now just not alot, car still doesnt start. sooo......., is the black box needed, do i need to patch the other two wires in also..... do i need the coil from a kade.... help me here folks, im ready to put this show on the road..........

The large black w/red stripe wire is main coil power, the little resistor box unit that sits next to coil on the harness is the resistor for the tach signal. Sohc that is
